HOW TO CARE OF YOUR GLASSES

  • The glasses should always be kept in their case after use and not left exposed to rough surfaces.
  • The lenses of the glasses should be wiped with cleaning cloths or special wet wipes and sprays. If they get too dirty can be washed with liquid soap (neutral ph) and cold water.
  • The glasses should not come into contact with chemicals (such as hairspray, harsh detergents) and not exposed to high temperatures (like car windshield, oven, grill).

RIGHT FITTING OFCONTACT LENSES

Contact lensesappliedto the anterior surface of the eye (cornea) to correct, such as eye glasses, eyesight in far andnear distances, or for cosmetic reasons (colored contact lenses).
To apply a lens properly it should have curvature similar to cornea.
Contact lenses are available in different curvatures. Before a lens is selected ,it’s necessary to measure corneal curvatures for each person separately.

ABSORBENTSANDTESTEDQUALITYSUNGLASSES

Exposure to UV raysis one of the main causes of eye diseases. Some of the damages are irreversible and can lead to partial or total loss of vision. It is very important to choose sunglasses that offer 100% protection from UV rays. Not tested glasses (such as those that are sold in outdoor markets) are of low quality, don’t filter100% UV radiation and only provide shading ,consequently pupil of the eye expand and larger amount of UV radiation enter the eye.

SAY NO  to 'READY-MADE' READING  Glasses
Right correction of presbyopia is achieved  by using eyeglasses which are manufactured by the prescription obtained after a complete optometric examination. Also lenses should be placed on the frame so that their optical center coincides with the distance between the pupils of the eyes. In this way we achieve accurate correction which offers  clear eyesight and visual comfort. In contrast to the above, "ready-made" eye glasses are mass production , at random optical centers, without correction of  astigmatism if there is any need ,have the same correction for both eyes (several times there is various correction  between the two eyes) and usually are manufactured by low quality materials. For all these reasons it is very likely to cause visual fatigue , dizziness or headaches.
